Training
We have recently been awarded a 'Crime Inovation Fund' Grant to establish a training programme in the Woodland.
The training scheme is for young people and will deliver vocational training in Land Management to those struggling to engage the job market or at risk of offending.
We are seeking a qualified assessor and experienced trainer with a strong Land Management background to develop the training scheme and manage the day to day operation within an agreed Woodland Management Plan.
They will work alongside the deputy manager, who is training to be an assessor.
The successful candidates will be required to establish and run a ‘Junior Ranger Scheme’ which will meet two evenings a month, and other special events.
The successful candidates will have a high level of IT skills and a real desire to work with traditionally marginalized learners.
